Features, Pros and Cons
- AC310H
The AC310H air compressor from Makita has the capability of producing 400 PSI. With such high level of PSI, this is particularly meant for power tools, such as nailers. In fact, the design includes a pair of universal couplers for conventional nailers, which requires 3.6 CFM at 90 PSI, as well as another pair of couplers meant for high pressure nailers, which require 2.7 CFM at 300 PSI. Air compressors often have problems with tripped breakers and voltage drops, which occur during startups.
Makita AC310H, however, has a low amp draw, which decreases such cases. This air compressor also has a four-pole induction motor, which greatly increases the effectiveness of the device while maintaining its durability. With its design primarily meant for nailers though. The roll-bar handle makes this air compressor quite portable. The roll-bar is also a mechanism that adds protection to the device. One particular distinctive feature though is its oil sight glass. This makes it possible for the operator to maintain the device better because he can be constantly aware of the level of the oil. The oil-lubricated pump ensures that the running temperatures are lower and also minimizes wear and tear.
