Do You Know Which Dewalt Impact Driver to Buy?
The manufacturer offers pretty decent range of cordless impact drivers that vary in size, weight, torque, impacts per minute and battery power. All these factors should be taken into account before you choose the right driver to suit your needs. Below is a brief list of the product range:

As you can see the main difference between all of them is actually the battery that comes with a driver, but this has an impact on the specs of a particular driver especially torque and weight.
The 18V range drivers deliver speed of 0 to 2400RPM and 0 to 2700 impacts per minute. The maximum torque is 111 of pound force per feet. The weight moderately differs ranging from 3.1lbs to 4.6lbs depending on battery used: compact lithium-ion battery being the lightest (DCF826KL) and XRP NiCad the heaviest (DC825KA).
The DC825B is sold as a tool only, so if you already have Dewalt battery then this might be a perfect choice for you. For more info on 18V battery range check Dewalt Batteries 18V. Length of all tools in this range is 5-3/4 inch.
DC835KA, DC845KA and DC855KA have similar speed and impacts per min specs as 18V range but the torque is lower: 103 ft-lbs, 96 ft-lbs and 80 ft-lbs respectively. The weight also drops but not so significantly as the lightest driver here has 3.3 lbs. Similarly to 18V range length of these impact drivers is also 5-3/4 inch.
Dewalt impact drivers equipped with MAX* batteries are designed with more flexibility in mind to suit different sort of projects. With higher torque of 117 of pound force per feet and 3200 IPMs (DCF885C2 and DCF885L2) and light weight(DCF885C2 only 2.8 lbs) these have enough power to handle wide range of applications and with their size of only 5.55″ can fit into any tight area. These series has additional LED lights to provide more visibility when being utilized.
